  • 1/4 lbs bulk chorizo or spicy pork sausages
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 jar store-bought salsa
  • 1 packet pizza crust (12 inches in diameter)
  • 1 medium green capsicum (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup canned black beans (rinsed & drained)
  • 1 can ripe olives (diced) - optional

How to Make Tex Mex Pizza:


  • Heat oven to 450 degrees
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausages, stirring occasionally till brown
  • Drain and set aside
  • Sprinkle a cup of cheese over the pizza crust
  • Top with the salsa, green capsicum, beans and olives (optional)
  • Sprinkle with the remaining cheese
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet or baking sheet
  • Bake for about 10 mins or till pizza is hot and the cheese is melted
