provides a perfect balance of flavor. This recipe can be any type of Mexican rice.
Garlic Shrimp or Camarones al Mojo de Ajo - Easy Mexican Recipe For Mexican Main Course
- 36 medium shrimps (pranws) in shells
- 15 cloves garlic (3 whole & 12 minced fine)
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp pepper
- 3/4 tsp white vinegar
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 5 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp lime juice

How to make Garlic Shrimp or Camarones al Mojo de Ajo:
- Split shrimp down in the middles without seperating them completely using the underside
- Remove any dark veins
- In a blender, puree whole galric cloves, salt & pepper and vinegar
- Marinate shrimps in mixture for 30 mins
- Heat oil and butter in pan
- Add minced garlic and saute till brown (3 mins)
- Add shrimps with shell side up
- Lower heat, cover and cook for 2 to 3 mins or till shrimps turn opaque
- Sprinkle with lime juice and remove from heat
