We were familiar with the Super 8 Hotel chain so with a bit of trepidation, we entered this hotel and expected nothing to wow us. Imagine to our surprise when we were shown to our room. It was ultra modern and clean, the kitchen was functional and the bathroom was plesantly enough to use. Staff members were very friendly and helpful and we can't say enough of this hotel. Definitely on our list of recommendations for a family with a tight budget.

Ask for AAA or BCAA membership for discounts.

Jeff's comments: I've stayed here before the refurbishing took place and boy, was this a lovely surprise. Warm, modern and clean (did I say clean?), I would definitely stay here next time.

Max's comments: I'm in agreement. Despite this hotel being a basic hotel, it did serve our needs well.

What We Didn't Like:

What does one expect from a basic hotel? Don't expect too much, this hotel does not come with a swimming pool and some of the facilities were a bit out-of-date. We did not care too much for the outdoor parking and there was no valet service to speak of.

Aileen's comments: Not my favorite but then again, I'm so spoilt with luxury hotels. However, this hotel is definitely for those with a tight budget.
