What We Like:
Hotel Rating:
Walking into the Laurel Point Inn is like walking into a cruise ship itself. The view was simply breathtaking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The fact that we had a balcony that looked into the Inner Harbor was
a bonus. The rooms were comfortable and modern with a Oriental feel to them.
The staff were friendly and accommodated us even though we were an hour late arriving at our arrival date. We
liked the restaurant and thought the food and atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing. The servers certainly went out
of their way to cater to our needs. We also liked the fact that parking was free. We were also given free taxi
ferry coupons.
All in all, a wonderful place
to stay in.
What We Didn't Like:
In a word, the price tag. Staying at the Laurel Point Inn is not cheap.
The location was a bit far from the heart of Victoria. Walking there took us half an hour and the water taxis were
not always available (due to the fact they were small and crowded). We also did not like the fact that the buffet
were a bit overpriced for the food you were served. For the amount of money we pay, we had expected over the top
buffet breakfast but it was pretty standard.
