Alternatives in Victoria, B.C.
What We Like:
Hotel Rating:
We love the fact that we got champagne and homemade chocolate truffles upon arrival. Our room was big and comfortable,
wonderful bed and fantastic old-style decore. The innkeeper was hospitable and warm, we were greeted with smiles
and our needs taken care of.
Jeff's comments: Definitely a romantic getaway for two and I would not recommend this place for a young family
with infants or toddlers.
Aileen's comments: I adore the breakfast part. There's nothing like having your own meal delivered to your room
in the morning. Host was equally charming.
What We Didn't Like:
Location of the bed and breakfast. As it is not located close to downtown Victoria, we had to use our own transportation
to take us there. However, if you're looking for a place tucked away from the heart of the city and a quick get-away,
this is the place for you.
Maxim's comments: It is unfortunate that this place isn't exactly child friendly, then again, it's perfect for those
who need to get away from screaming children once in awhile.
